| Born in 1966, MARQUITO VELEZ started to play flamengo guitar at early age At 15 he went to Spain to refine his playing under the expert guidance of PEDRO ESCALONA There he joined musical contests like the one of Jerez de la Frontera and La Union In March 1988 he played the supporting act of PACO DE LUCIA in Brussels Since then he has been performing regularly, both as soloist and an accompanist FLAMENCO GUITAR is his debut CD release containing 12 tracks all recorded in November 1994 | ||
